WATER BIRTH

Birth takes place in a hot water bath. The temperature of the water is constantly measured during childbirth and is maintained at 37 degrees. Pool water during labor; Amniotic fluid is contaminated with blood, urine and similar substances. This can increase the risk of both the baby and the mother after birth. To prevent this, the water of the pool is changed periodically.

- There are experts who report that the baby is born from a liquid environment in the pouch to a liquid environment, making a softer and stress-free transition, and that these babies are less crying, calmer babies.
In which situations is water birth not recommended?
- People with genital infections such as herpes
- The dolls enter into the birth canal with breech
- Twin-triplet pregnancies
- Premature births
- Those with diseases such as high blood pressure or diabetes (sugar) during pregnancy
- Developmental retardation in the baby
- Decreased baby's heartbeat or abnormal conditions
- Not recommended in cases where condensed meconium (baby's stool) is seen in the amniotic fluid.
Does the baby breathe underwater?
Within a few seconds when the baby is in the water, the baby gets the oxygen through the blood of the mother on the cord as during the whole pregnancy.
