Episiotomy is frequently applied in most normal births,
especially in the first births. Especially in preterm births and those who give
birth to a large baby, episiotomy may be large and a large number of stitches
may be required. In these cases, there may rarely be small pieces from the
outer part of the vagina to the mother's hand after episiotomy healing. Small
pieces hanging from this area and coming to the hands of the patient are taken
and the outer part of the vagina is restored to its former appearance before
birth. Vaginal tightening (vaginoplasty) surgery is often performed at the same
time for the feeling of openness at the entrance to the vagina. Enlargement due
to normal birth may create a feeling of openness in the woman and vagina
constriction surgery is performed to correct this situation.
