Preterm labor is called the births that take place before the
37th week of pregnancy expires. The occurrence of some signs and symptoms
indicating the risk of preterm labor before this week is called "preterm
labor". In the presence of symptoms that cause suspicion of preterm birth,
it is necessary to consult a doctor immediately. Because, in the presence of
preterm birth, starting treatment early before the delivery progresses and
increases the success in stopping the delivery.
Preterm
birth symptoms:
- Pain and stiffness in the abdomen
- Pain and cramps in the groin (may resemble menstrual pain)
- Backache
- Water coming in, excessive watery discharge from the vagina
- Spotting or bleeding, aiming
- Feeling of pressure down the abdomen
The above mentioned symptoms do not always mean that there is
a risk of preterm labor. The exact result, however, may be that the doctor's
birth symptoms can be confused with some other conditions. For example, false
birth pains, vaginal discharge, urinary tract infection and other abdominal and
groin pain caused by other causes.
