CANCER IN PREGNANCY

The most common cancers during pregnancy are:
1. Cervical cancer
2. Breast cancer
3. Leukemia-lymphoma
4. Melanoma
5. Ovarian cancer

Cervical cancer, which is the most common cancer in pregnancy, occurs in about 2000 pregnancies.
Breast cancer, which is the second most common cancer in pregnancy, is found in approximately 3000 pregnancies.
Ovarian cancer occurs in about 5000 pregnancies.
The treatments of cancers seen during pregnancy are planned according to various criteria such as the week of gestation in which the cancer is detected, whether the mother wants to continue the pregnancy, and if the cancer is in the early or late stages.
