Some situations related to mother or baby may require a
pregnancy to be included in the category of risky pregnancy (high risk
pregnancy). There may be some diseases that exist before the pregnancy, as well
as some diseases that occur after the pregnancy begins. Pregnancies defined as
risky pregnancy require closer and careful strict follow-up. These pregnancies
should be followed and evaluated by risky pregnancy specialists
(perinatologist) whenever possible.

of regular exercise and proper nutrition, trying to maintain normal weight
limits, not using any medication without consulting a doctor, and taking care
of regular doctor follow-ups from pre-pregnancy to delivery are some measures
that can be taken.
