6 MONTHS PREGNANCY

21 WEEK PREGNANCY
Your baby starts to swallow some of the liquid that it swims in and thus helps the development of the digestive system. Also, your baby's blood cells begin to be made in the bone marrow this week.
22 WEEK PREGNANCY
Your baby's sense of touch and taste begins to develop. You can see that he has started testing them on his own by sucking his finger on ultrasound or touching different parts of the body. The testicles of baby boys begin to go down through the abdomen. The uterus and ovaries are in place in female babies and their vagina is developed.
23 WEEKS PREGNANCY
Your baby's lungs begin to prepare for life outside. If born before this week, the lungs have no chance to work. He also started respiratory movement. Babies born this week can sometimes be kept alive in appropriate intensive care conditions, but mostly severe disabilities are seen (blindness, mental retardation ...)
24 WEEK PREGNANCY
Usually the baby tends to stand upside down. Balance structures in the inner ear have developed. Babies born this week have a 50% chance of living.
CHANGES ON THE MOTHER THIS MONTH
- Blood pressure (blood pressure) is lower than normal.
- Blood production increased. For this reason, the need for iron in the body is higher than the non-pregnant woman.
- There may be pregnancy-related bleeding in your gums.
- The rib cage expands due to increased breathing.
- Yellowish little drops may come from your nipples. This is mouth milk containing very valuable substances for the baby immediately after birth.
Pain-free contractions in the uterus may occur occasionally. However, this fact should not be confused with regular, increasingly aggravated, painful contractions in the abdomen and lumbar region. If your contractions worry you, especially if it becomes painful or more than six per hour, consult your doctor, as it may be a sign of preterm birth!
