About 20% of pregnant women complain of varying degrees of
itching. Itching in the body during pregnancy can occur for a variety of
reasons, for whatever reason itching during pregnancy is a condition that
requires medical attention. In addition, cracks due to stretching of the
abdomen and other areas during pregnancy may also cause itching. Allergies,
eczema, contact dermatitis, fungal infection of the skin and other
dermatological diseases may also have been encountered during pregnancy. Other

Itching around the vagina is usually due to vaginitis, a
fungal infection in the vagina. Itching around the anus can occur due to

Some pregnant women have redness and itching in their hands
and feet. This condition is thought to be due to increased estrogen hormone
during pregnancy and passes shortly after birth.
Treatment:
It is treated according to the cause of the itch. In case of
itching due to cracks, moisturizing creams and almond oil can be used.
