GAS PAIN IN PREGNANCY

The situation expressed in various ways such as gas pain during pregnancy, gas problem, gas extraction (fading) problem, gas compression, swelling in the abdomen due to gas is one of the common complaints. The strongest factor in this complaint is the relaxation of the smooth muscles of the digestive system, probably due to pregnancy hormones (progesterone). The growth of the uterus in the subsequent pregnancy compresses the intestines, stomach, and delays the emptying of these organs, contributing to the problem of gas.
The gas in the stomach is formed by ingesting air, and some of it is thrown out by burping, while some pass into the intestines. The gas in the intestines is produced by breaking down the food that is eaten mostly by the bacteria of the intestine, a small part of which is the gas coming from the stomach. Removing gas (farting) during pregnancy does not harm the baby or pregnancy.
When does the pain of gas begin during pregnancy?
The gas problem usually starts from the first months of pregnancy and continues until birth.
